SETH Single
Family Bond Program-
SETH has a program that provides financing for
your home purchase. This program has two choices available for
eligible homebuyers.
Option 1: First Time Homebuyers

Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Liberty, Matagorda, Waller, Walker &
Wharton and the cities of: Baytown, Deer Park, Dickinson, La
Marque, La Porte, League City, Pasadena, Santa Fe, Shoreacres,
Texas City and Tomball.

Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) HOME
Program-
SETH administers
the first time homebuyers program for the Texas Department of
Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA.) The program
provides up to $10,000 for use toward the down payment and
closing costs associated with purchasing a new or existing home.
Program coverage areas include the counties of Austin, Chambers,
Matagorda, Wharton, Waller or in the cities of Cleveland,
Huntsville, Bayou Vista, Bolivar Peninsula and Hitchcock.

SETH
2009 Mortgage Credit Certificate Program (MCC)-
SETH has a
program that provides a tax credit of up to $2,000/year for
eligible homebuyers. The tax credit is received each year for
the life of the mortgage loan. This program has higher income
limits and does not have a first time homebuyer requirement for
many of our jurisdictions. Program coverage areas include the
counties of Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Liberty, Matagorda, Waller, Walker
& Wharton and the cities of: Baytown, Deer Park, Dickinson, La
Marque, La Porte, League City, Pasadena, Santa Fe, Shoreacres,
Texas City and Tomball.

Mortgage
Credit Certificates Programs (MCC) Administered by SETH –
SETH administers many other local area MCC
Programs. These MCC Programs provide a tax credit for the life
of the mortgage loan. The amount of the tax credit is
determined by the amount of interest you pay on the mortgage
loan each year. MCC’s help reduce a homeowners burden by
providing additional income for the family each year. Please
select one of the following programs for more information.
Panhandle
Regional Housing Finance Corporation
Serving the counties of: Carson, Collingswood,
Dallam, Deaf Smith, Donley, Gray, Hall, Hansford, Hartley,
Hemphill, Hutchinson, Lipscomb, Moore, Ochiltree, Oldham,
Parmer, Potter (excluding the City of Amarillo), Randall,
Roberts, Sherman, and Wheeler.
Brazos
County
Available in the counties of: Brazos, Burleson,
Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, and Washington.
City
of Galveston
Helping homebuyers
purchase homes in the City of Galveston.
Galveston
County
Serving those buying a home in Galveston County, but outside the
following city limits (not paying city taxes) – Dickinson,
Galveston, La Marque, League City, Santa Fe, or Texas City. In
addition to the tax credit provided, eligible first time
homebuyers may receive a $2,000 grant with this program.
Harris
County
Available for homes located in Harris County, but
outside the city limits of: Houston, Baytown, Deer Park,
Friendswood, La Porte, League City, Missouri City, Pasadena, and
Pearland.
City of Pasadena -
SETH administers the first-time
homebuyers program for the city of Pasadena. These funds are
available to first-time homebuyers in an amount not to exceed
$7,500 for a
existing home, $14,500 for a newly constructed home, or $19,000
for a home in the Sunrise Meadows Subdivision per
household. These funds may be used for down payment and closing costs
to purchase a home
in Pasadena, Texas.
